Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer. In this role, you will be designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems and APIs that power the digital asset trading platform.
You will help the company to enhance trading capabilities and deliver exceptional value to clients. You will work closely with team- technology, trading & operations, as well as senior management to build scalable, secure, and efficient trading solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs to support our trading platform.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and ensure seamless user experiences.
- Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing trading volumes and user demands.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance functionality and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in digital finance and blockchain to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend development of trading systems/algorithms, with strong focus on technologies such as Java 17, Spring, Aeron, PostgreSQL, direct TCP/UDP usage, SBE, REST/WS, FIX, Docker, AWS.
- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with data modeling and storage solutions.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development, particularly in the context of trading systems.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience in developing secure applications and understanding of security best practices in the context of digital assets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for staying at the forefront of technology.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote team environment.
