Where to actually look for remote jobs in 2026

Job search
One of the questions we hear all the time at our events is pretty simple: where do you actually find remote jobs?
So our team put together an updated list of platforms that are worth checking right now. If you’re thinking about living in the Nordics but working remotely for an international company, these are some of the places we’d start with. There are a lot of opportunities out there, you just need to know where to look.

🚀 Don’t forget about LinkedIn

It still plays a big role in the process. It's not just because job listings. A big part of hiring happens through posts, comments and direct outreach. Founders and hiring managers often share roles before they become official vacancies or don’t post them at all. This is the “hidden job market”, and it’s where many opportunities actually come from.

🚀 BairesDev

Connects remote tech professionals with long-term roles at global companies.

🚀 Remote OK

Useful if you just want to quickly see who’s hiring right now. Good for scanning the market.

🚀 FlexJobs

Paid, but more structured. Jobs are moderated, so it feels less chaotic than most free boards.

🚀 NoDesk

Simple and clean. Works well for non-tech roles like operations, support, and content.

🚀 Remote.co

Nicely organised by category, which makes it easier to browse.

🚀 Jobspresso

More curated. Usually fewer listings, but often more relevant ones.

🚀 Remotive

Good mix of tech and non-tech roles. Also worth checking regularly.

🚀 Wellfound

Great if you’re open to startups. Often faster hiring and more direct contact.

🚀 Working Nomads

Good filters and a steady flow of remote jobs across different categories.

🚀 Arc

Especially useful for developers and tech roles. Focused on remote-first hiring.

🚀 Nerdsbay Jobs

Our own small job board for remote jobs offered by our partners and customers.
You don’t need to use all of them at once. Pick a few, check them consistently and apply early when something relevant shows up.
And again, don’t ignore LinkedIn. A lot of remote roles are still posted there first or filled through direct outreach ❤
Good luck with remote job search!
